Premiership Round Up - November
This month I'm going to post my team of the season so far:
Premiership XI (as of end Nov07)
-----------Agbonlahor(AV)----------Anelka(Bolton)----------
---------------------Elano(ManC) ----------------------------
M.Petrov(ManC)----------------------------Arteta(Everton)
---------------------Fabgregas(Arsenal----------------------
Evra(ManU)-----------------------------------Sagna(Arsenal)
-------------Dunne(ManC)--------Vidic(ManU)--------------
------------------------Friedel(BB)---------------------------
You might wonder where the likes of Gerrard, Rooney, Lampard etc are but these, I feel, are the individuals who have contributed the most to their teams efforts this season as opposed to the outright best players.

Been awaiting your take on Liverpool's mauling of the Toon Army but I suppose this will have to suffice ;-)
Well I'm not so sure how much Anelka fits in if your criteria is to ignore 'outright best players'. Le Sulk is no selfish poacher like, say, Mickey Owen but I do think you over estimate his contribution to the Bolton team.
Can't argue with the rest of the choices. man City are a strange beast..they're so completely brilliant in midfield this season I've forgotten who they have up front. But does it even matter?
Also been impressed by Santa Cruz at B'burn and Arbeloa at t'Pool is the new Mr Versatile and every bit as steady as Finnan.
Pool V toon will be up tonight.
anelka's goals are the only thing keeping Bolton afloat imo
I thought you migth be dismayed to see no Pool players in the XI
Good stuff, although I expect the tone to be more about Newcastle's ineptitude than Liverpool's emperiousness. We won at a canter.
Anelka is class, no doubt..he's about the only flair they have unless you count Diouf. Which i don't.
Arbeloa, Mascherano, Torres, Reina, even Gerrard would all be Liverpool contenders IMO.
Its been a team effort from Liverpool, no one player has really shone for me. Hope you enjoy the Newcastle review
